um … hi.

i’m not sure where to start, but … i just arrived here, and there is a kaprimon on my sholdur saying that we need to find a place to stay. i’m inclined to belive him. why can’t i find the shift button?

[Sorry Kenji. He likes you well enough but he still thinks you're not the brightest bulb in the bunch. He makes a face at Nadeko's question, but lets Kenji answer it.]

That's not really my call to make ... but if they can accept someone like me, they'll probably have no problem accepting you. [ sheepish smile. Nadeko sighs a little. ]

[He really doesn't want to get in to talking about his family. Not when there's so little chance he'll ever see them again. Kenji is one thing, but he doesn't expect to see anyone else he knows.

He does give Nadeko's hand a squeeze, though, apologizing for how aloof he's acting at the moment.]

[ Kenji nods, falling quiet. Nadeko looks over toward Kazuma and frowns a little, squeezing his hand in return. ]

[Kazuma leads them all back to the lamp post, tripping a few times over the uneven ground. Eventually they're back in Neon, though, right in the residential district.]

[ and he seems a bit fazed by that lightpost travel thing ]

These things can give you instantaneous travel from one city to another. Makes getting around a lot easier. ... you okay? Its a little disorienting at first.

A little dizzy, but I think I'll be okay.

[ Kapurimon on his head didn't help much, unfortunately. Nadeko smiled a little. ]

I think we've all been through that at some point or another ...

It wears off after a few minutes. You alright to walk? It's not far.

[ Kenji nods. ]

I think I'm good. Sorry for holding you guys up.

[Kazuma shrugs]

School is already out for the day. It's not like we had anything else to do.

[he starts walking again, taking out the house key]

So you're continuing school here?

[ Nadeko nods in response to Kenji's question. ]

Mhm. Both of us are.

The people we're staying with kind of insisted.

[doesn't he just sound thrilled about that?]

They seem like pretty responsible people.

They are.

[he pauses]

Watanuki-sama is a little... flaily, though.

More or less than I am?

[ YES, HE ADMITS HE'S A FLAILY GUY. ]

[at least he admits it. Kazuma is finally smiling, though its totally at Kenji's expense]

More, if you can believe that.

Oh boy, this'll be interesting ...

[ dude that girlfriend of yours must have some awesome influence on you. speaking of her, she's glad to see Kazuma smiling too. ]

[shrugs, and unlocks the door, taking his jacket off and tossing it with his bag on the living room couch]

[ probably better to not hold hands around Watanuki, but she gives Kazuma's hand a gentle/apologetic squeeze before letting it go and rushing over to the kitchen to give Watanuki a quick hug. ]

We're having one more for dinner tonight, Wata-san ... I hope that's not an inconvenience.

[Kazuma frowns a little, but doesn't say anything, heading in to the kitchen after her. Doumeki looks up from the kitchen table where he's reading something.]

How was school? And who's your friend?

Fine. This is Koiso Kenji. he's from my world, actually. My cousin's boyfriend.

[Hugs Nade back and then looks over at the new person.]

It shouldn't be a problem. Its nice to meet you Koiso-san.
